Why the language is not a detail
You can describe something difficult in a second language. But then part of your attention goes into choosing words instead of into what you just felt. The things that are hardest to say almost always arrive first in the language you think about them in.
When it cannot wait
For a crisis session — after a loss, a separation, a sudden change, or with severe anxiety — I aim to offer an appointment within 48 hours. If the situation goes beyond counselling and needs treatment, I say so immediately and refer you on rather than drawing it out.
Can I work entirely online from Bielefeld?
Yes, and most people from Bielefeld do. The in-person room is available but not necessary — for most subjects online work is comparably effective.
